Individual Therapy

Choosing your path forward

Individual therapy provides an opportunity to work with a mental health professional in a one-to-one setting. It typically includes weekly or biweekly meetings at regularly scheduled intervals, depending on your needs.

Psychotherapy can help clarify what you're experiencing and give you a better understanding of how it may be impacting your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In addition, it can help you learn skills to regain control of your life and become better equipped to navigate life's challenges.

While mental health therapy can be helpful in treating a wide range of clinical mental health problems, it is important to note that not everyone who engages in psychotherapy is experiencing a clinical mental illness. Therapy can help people who struggle with a wide range of clinical and and non-clinical issues, such as:

  • Anxiety, depression, mood fluctuations
  • Career struggles & transitions
  • Cultural concerns
  • Emotional regulation
  • Family & relationship stress
  • Gender identity
  • Grief / Loss
  • Major life changes
  • Ongoing health concerns
  • Physical / sexual abuse
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Sleep & diet challenges
  • Trauma

If you would like to see if we might be a good fit for therapy, reach out to schedule a phone consultation whenever you're ready.
