My name is Jess, and I truly love being a therapist. :) This work is my life’s calling and guides my practice as a clinician. My passion shows up in the relationships I build with my clients and the growth they experience while in my care. As your therapist, I will show up for you, advocate for you, and genuinely care about you. Therapy is a process and takes effort, but together we can make it an enjoyable experience. We will work toward becoming the version of yourself you want to be through intentional goal setting and simply supporting you along the way—because change can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone.
One of my favorite treatment approaches is DBT, which I love practicing and teaching. I offer structured 1:1 DBT treatment, if desired. I also have a unique specialization in Financial Therapy. My therapy style is solution-focused, skill-based, and problem solving. My goal is to get to the root of the problem so we can prevent it from happening again.
I also enjoy teaching about the brain by incorporating neuroscience into therapy because knowledge is power. Understanding why you think, feel, or act the way you do can increase motivation for change. I believe meaningful change is possible, and you deserve a life you are excited to live—present, grounded, and fully enjoying the human experience.
Do financial struggles or money-related stress affect your relationships or well-being? Do you often feel overwhelmed by money and wish you could find peace and clarity around your finances? Are you ready to break free from financial stress and gain the tools to overcome these hardships? Financial challenges can often feel isolating, but you don’t have to navigate this alone. I am a passionate therapist with a unique specialization in Financial Social Work.
My mission as a Financial Social Worker is to help you establish a healthy relationship with your money, and this isn’t simply by creating a budget plan, savings, and / or investing. It's about understanding how your emotions, experiences, and beliefs shape the way you handle your finances. Together, we'll uncover patterns, break through barriers, and develop strategies that will help you take back control of your financial health. Whether you’re struggling with financial anxiety, chronic debt, or simply want to gain more control over your money, I offer practical solutions alongside emotional support.
Imagine a life where you have a clear, structured approach to your finances—where you wake up each day knowing exactly where your money is going and how it’s working for you. With a solid financial plan in place, you’re no longer overwhelmed by bills or surprised by unexpected expenses. Instead, you have a budget that aligns with your goals, a savings plan that ensures you're prepared for the future, and a sense of security that comes from having financial stability.
